God of War Ragnarok, the latest game in the series, is still going strong after its initial release on the PlayStation 5 in November 2022. In the game, Kratos can have the dwarven blacksmith brothers Sindri and Brok forge new armor for him by bringing them materials for crafting. However, headgear is not an option for Kratos, as he can only wear a chest plate, gauntlets, and waist guards.

What would Kratos look like with his headgear visible?

Redditor PatFury shared his custom design of Kratos with headgear on the site God of War subreddit, featuring a traditional style Greek hoplite helmet. Paired with the Draupnir Spear, which can be purchased in God of War Ragnarok and a shield, Kratos looks like a proper Greek soldier, giving him a whole new look that some say is similar to his magical Spartan armor when he went berserk in the first game. Kratos has traditionally never been depicted with a headgear, perhaps to show his face and his characteristic bald appearance.
